I felt like a poetic title tonight, because it was a poetic moment coming home. I walked past a house that must have had some kind of flowering plant in the yard and it smelt amazing, but because it was dark I have no idea what it was that smelt so good. I couldn’t even pinpoint which yard it was coming from!

I have this theory that things, like flowers, smell stronger in the night. I’ve noticed it while riding home in the dark too, something about the lack of light makes everything smell more mysterious (except road kill, which will never be mysterious… unless you’re trying to guess what it was before it was road kill).

Have you noticed this? Ever smelt something wonderful after the sun goes down?
